WA: Four detainees in lock-up after Perth airport incident

PERTH, Dec 30 AAP - Four detainees were taken to a police lock-up today following anincident at Perth airport detention centre, an immigration department spokesman said.

Details about the incident were sketchy, but an Australasian Correctional Managementguard may have been injured in the unrest earlier today, the spokesman said.

Four detainees were taken from the detention facility at Perth airport to the EastPerth police lock-up, he said.

Comment was being sought from police.
