Vic: Body of SA yachtsman found on beach

Victorian police have not yet released the name of a man whose body was found washed
up on a Gippsland beach yesterday morning.

The body of a 71-year-old South Australian yachtsman was found by a passer-by at Woodside
Beach, near Yarram, about 8.30am yesterday.

Police say the man was travelling from South Australia to New South Wales on his 10-metre
yacht when he got into difficulty in Refuge Cove on Sunday morning.

No one else was on board the yacht.

The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
