NSW: 43,000 people at Easter Show this morning

SYDNEY, April 16 AAP - More than 43,000 people passed through Sydney's Royal Easter
Show turnstiles this morning, taking the total attendance so far to 760,000.

Crowds were slightly down today compared to Good Friday and Easter Saturday, but attendance
was still strong, a spokeswoman for the show said.

A highlight today will be the final dog show event and the presentation of best dog
award to one of the show's 150 breed winners.

Another feature will be rodeo riders, aged 10 to 13, competing on small bulls.

The last grand parade of this year's show will take place in the main arena and feature
up to 1,000 animals later today.

The show ends on Thursday.
