Qld: State of play in Qld parliament

BRISBANE, Feb 4 AAP - Labor's one seat parliamentary majority in Queensland is on the
line in tomorrow's byelections in the outer Brisbane seats of Woodridge and Bundamba.

The split in the 89-seat Queensland parliament is:

- ALP 43

- National Party 23

- Liberal Party 9

- Country Party of Qld (ex-One Nation) 1

- Independents (including nine ex-One Nation) 11

- Vacant 2

* Labor retained Bundamba in the June 1998 state election with a 6.2 per cent buffer,
and Woodridge with a 13.52 per cent margin.
